How do we use Quantum colors?
Quantum color prisms can either be melted in a double boiler or in a microwave. We would recommend double boiling. Strain if diluting with cocoa butter for best results to make Bonbons.

Will the Color Guide give us the actual shade chosen?
The Color Guide provided in the website is only a reference guide to shades that one can arrive at only in chocolate and fondant as a medium. The precision of the color guide will change with type and base color of medium being colored. Slight variation can also be seen in base color of chocolate and fondant being used. The shades seen in the color guide will also differ from device to device depending on the color of the screen.
Can I melt Quantum colors multiple times?
Yes, Quantum colors can be melted multiple times. Care must be taken not to overheat the color while using the microwave.
Can the gel be refrigerated?
Not required to refrigerate for storage. But can be refrigerated if on cakes. It will set while in fridge.
Can Quantum colors be used directly as colored cocoa butter to spray chocolate molds?
Quantum colors are bold and robust concentrated colors. Henceforth, we recommend diluting one quantum color (14gm) with 50 gm of cocoa butter or to your preferred concentration before being used to spray into molds for making Bon Bons.
How do we use Quantum Colors in compound chocolate or coating chocolate?
We recommend mixing and cooling down the colored compound chocolate to room temperature before usage to avoid blooming of chocolate which is generally seen as white streaks on the surface.
